Job Description

Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino is a renowned hospitality and entertainment destination that offers guests a vibrant experience through its diverse range of dining options and engaging gaming activities. As a respected establishment in the region, Spokane Tribe Resort takes pride in providing exceptional service, high-quality food and beverage options, and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. The resort includes several distinct restaurant outlets such as Three Peaks, Sports Grill, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), and Cayuse Kapi, each offering a unique dining experience suited to a wide range of tastes and preferences. With its commitment to excellence, ethics, and operational integrity, Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino continuously strives to uphold the highest standards across all its offerings, creating a reliable and impressive destination for locals and visitors alike.

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Assistant Manager role at Spokane Tribe Resort is a critical position that functions as a key support for the Director of Restaurant Operations and the multiple restaurant outlets under their management. This position requires a hands-on, front-of-house operational leader who acts as a floater across various dining venues including full-service restaurants, quick service, and specialized cafes. The Assistant Manager ensures that service standards are maintained consistently by floating between outlets to support execution, reinforce quality, and quickly address any guest service issues in real-time.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership instincts who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment such as a casino resort. The F&B Assistant Manager not only oversees daily operations but also plays an essential role in coaching team members, managing staffing, handling guest complaints, maintaining compliance with gaming and food safety regulations, and ensuring that the overall guest experience aligns with the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino's brand and service values. The work entails multitasking across multiple food and beverage concepts and adapting supervisory approaches to ensure seamless service flow regardless of the outlet’s style.

Successful candidates for this position will have a proven background in front-of-house supervisory roles within both full-service and fast-casual dining environments, preferably with multi-outlet and casino food and beverage experience. Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a solution-focused mindset are crucial, as is the willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events. Compliance with regulatory licenses including a Gaming License and Food Handler Certification is mandatory.

In summary, this position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a progressive hospitality and gaming resort, contributing to outstanding guest experiences while developing team potential and operational excellence. The Assistant Manager role is pivotal in sustaining Spokane Tribe Resort’s reputation for quality and guest satisfaction across its diverse food and beverage outlets.
