The role of the Starbucks Assistant Manager is integral to supporting the daily operations and overall success of the Starbucks Department within Albertsons stores. This position reports directly to the Starbucks Manager and plays a crucial part in ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional service and leadership. The Assistant Manager is responsible for facilitating smooth department operations, including ordering, merchandising, maintaining optimal department conditions, and training Starbucks clerks. Acting as a point of contact in the absence of the Department Manager, this role requires multitasking, prioritization, and leadership skills to maintain profitable and legally compliant operations.

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management and subordinates in a professional manner
- Ability to self-motivate problem-solve and work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for up to 4 hours
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending squatting standing lifting climbing pushing pulling and walking
- Must possess basic math and computer skills including Word Excel and email
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must maintain a current Certified Food Safety Manager certification
- Bilingual English Spanish a plus
- Must be flexible to work various hours shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance work habits and attitude
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
Job Qualifications
