Job Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED
- 1+ year's experience in reception setting, front office, and with general office procedures
- Licensing, state law and our government funders require that staff within YMCA of San Diego County be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications
- CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety & Health Institute

Job Duties
- Answer multi-line telephone system with large call volume including relaying information and directing calls to the appropriate person(s)
- Greet and assist visitors entering the Association office while monitoring front-door access to ensure only authorized individuals are permitted admittance
- Maintain department directories
- Manage Association office conference and meeting room reservations
- Complete office supply orders and delivery notifications
- Receive and sign for incoming deliveries on behalf of the Association and ensure proper notification of receipt
- Respond to all email inquiries and questions submitted
- Provide administrative support to a variety of assignments as requested
- Ensure all functions are carried out in accordance with stipulated Association protocols and procedures
- Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Ability to do repetitive motion projects such as folding, stapling, typing, stuffing envelopes, and typing for extended periods of time
- Possess excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook and Word
- Other duties as assigned
