Job Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited AVMA institution
- Active or eligible Florida veterinary license
- Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD licensure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, positive, and collaborative demeanor with both staff and clients
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries
- Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples
- interpret results
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options
- Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed
- Provide compassionate counsel around pet end-of-life care
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records
- Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and all relevant statutes, policies, and procedures
