Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in promotional marketing or related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with spirits industry promotions preferred
  • Ability to recruit and manage event staff effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage budgets and payroll
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced marketing environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in field or promotional marketing
  • College graduate preferred (not necessary)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Promotional experience in spirits is preferred
  • Able to effectively source candidates to ensure a match to the position and organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Recruit and manage top quality brand staff for event execution in market
  • Support all aspects of the execution of weekly event activations
  • Support the Senior Event Manager to deliver best-in-class event execution
  • Train staff on brands, programs, consumer engagement, and execution excellence
  • Manage staff pools to ensure core teams support the volume and business needs
  • Manage point-of-sale coordination and warehouse management for all local event activity
  • Ensure proper coordination, kitting, and utilization of POS
  • Enter, maintain, and review event data in all relevant activation platforms
  • Ensure all event reporting is entered accurately and timely into the online database
  • Manage staff payroll and expense processes as well as personal travel and entertainment expenses
  • Follow standard operating procedures, policies, and protocols for issue resolution
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of local state alcohol laws and regulations relative to sampling laws and promotional activity
  • Attend, monitor, and evaluate events for quality control and make recommendations to improve event quality
