Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 2+ years experience in electronics
- Ability to travel 100% domestically and by air
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, squat, reach and twist frequently
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and overtime
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow written and spoken instructions
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic
- Professional demeanor and behavior
- Ability to work long hours in physically demanding environment
- Must maintain high ethics and character
- Must be able to manage schedules and travel plans efficiently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2+ years experience in an electronics field
- Basic knowledge of personal computer technology and network infrastructure
- Competency in electricity and electronics with ability to use test equipment and hand tools
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand IT signal, power cables and low voltage wiring systems
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work varying shifts including overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor, dress and behavior
Job Duties
- Operate in assigned territory performing basic repairs and services on products including problem determination using standard maintenance packages and diagnostics
- Perform installations, relocations, discontinuance, product engineering, configuration changes, upgrades and modifications to retail POS equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, peers and team members regarding work status, potential problems and satisfaction
- Build positive customer relationships with product end-users and store management
- Manage and complete service events with high quality and timely manner meeting customer commitments
- Plan, prioritize and schedule work to meet or exceed service level objectives
- Accurately document installation activities according to company standards using automated systems
- Maintain and manage trunk stock to support customers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
