Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • minimum of 5+ years of sales experience
  • prior leadership experience preferred
  • experience in foodservice or related industries
  • strong business and financial skills
  • ability to travel up to 40 percent and be located near a major airport
  • effective communication skills
  • proficiency in sales management tools
  • passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • willingness to take individual contributor roles when needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • master’s preferred
  • minimum of 5+ years of sales experience with demonstrated management success resulting in profitable volume, customer penetration and relationship building, managing a trade budget and achieving consistent, profitable growth
  • prior leadership and direct managerial experience in foodservice industry and with major distributors strongly preferred
  • experience in CPG, restaurant, culinary, and/or foodservice distributor industry
  • strong business and financial acuity
  • strong analytical skills and experience utilizing systems for sales tracking and data-driven strategy
  • effective verbal and written communication skills including customer-ready presentations
  • passion for challenging status quo and innovating
  • willingness to handle individual contributor responsibilities and promote team learning

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop a team of 7 plus direct reports ranging from MAM to NAM level
  • define and implement overall strategy for assigned region
  • develop a competitively advantaged team that uses best in class tools, systems, and processes
  • define and grow HQ relationships, implement key critical initiatives to drive joint-business planning, remove roadblocks internally and externally to deliver on strategy
  • negotiate long term contracts and pricing with key chains customers
  • collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders, especially Sales Operations and Planning, Marketing, and Finance
  • bring the best of broader AFH and KHC to meet/exceed the customer’s expectations
