Currently, Clarendale West End is seeking a hospitality-focused Associate Director of Sales to join their dynamic team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 annually, coupled with a commission structure, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced sales professionals in the senior living or hospitality industries. The Associate Director of Sales will play a critical role in driving the community’s occupancy and revenue growth by developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and sales programs. With a strategic focus, this individual will work collaboratively with the management team to create and execute ongoing plans that increase qualified inquiries, boost traffic, and close sales effectively.

The role involves managing the entire sales process from initial inquiry through to closing, including cold calling, conducting community tours, and following up with potential residents and their families. The Associate Director of Sales will also ensure the sales team and backup staff are well-prepared to handle inquiries promptly and professionally at all times. In addition, this position requires close coordination with marketing efforts such as community events, educational seminars, professional networking, advertising, and public relations to enhance visibility and outreach.

Detail-oriented reporting is a critical component of the role, with weekly marketing reports compiled for corporate leadership outlining inquiry activity, tours, move-ins, move-outs, and outreach initiatives. The incumbent will also maintain accurate data tracking within lead management software, scheduling next steps to foster continuous contact with prospective residents. This role is ideally suited to candidates with a passion for hospitality, senior care, and engagement, offering a meaningful career path within a growing and respected senior living community.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum five years experience in marketing and sales and/or senior living
  • management experience preferred
  • strong communication skills

  • ability to work full-time

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing/sales preferred
  • minimum five (5) years’ experience in marketing and sales and/or knowledge of senior living industry
  • management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Achieve maximum occupancy and revenue levels by keeping and building at or above budgeted monthly occupancy
  • handle and coordinate all aspects of the sales process from inquiry calls, cold calling, conducting tours, follow-up calls and communication, lead management software updates, and closing the sale
  • ensure community staff identified as back-up for inquiries/tours is up-to-date and inquiry process to ensure inquiries are handled properly at all times
  • work closely with the management team on developing, implementing strategies and an ongoing 90-day plan for increasing qualified inquiries, traffic, and sales, which can include community events, educational seminars, professional networking, advertising, public relations
  • compile a weekly marketing report for delivery to corporate on inquiries, tours, move-ins, move-outs, and outreach for each week
  • capture key data on inquiries and log into lead management software within 48 hours of inquiry so all inquiries are documented
  • all existing inquiries in the software system need to have next steps scheduled to maintain constant contact
