Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per company standards
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Capability to carry tools and marketing materials up to 50 lbs
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per company standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance or fleet operations is a plus
  • Ability to carry up to 50 lbs
  • Familiarity with city geography and transportation options

Job Duties

  • Ensure Zipcar vehicles are clean, maintained and ‘member-ready’
  • Transport vehicles to needed locations across the city using foot, bike, public transit or Zipcar
  • Change tires, fill gas tanks, and clean vehicles inside and out
  • Coordinate tows or repairs as necessary
  • Provide timely vehicle status updates to the operations team
  • Manage multiple priorities and tasks with strong time management
  • Work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
