Job Description
Assistant Waiter position at a restaurant, reporting directly to the Assistant Restaurant Manager. Responsible for assisting a waiter with food and beverage service, rotating between Buffet and Room Service as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience as a front waiter with fine dining and banquet service experience
- Minimum of two years experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products
- Intermediate to Advanced level English verbal and writing skills
- High school diploma, Secondary Education degree or equivalent
- Courses and or training in safety, environmental, public health and sanitation regulations and procedures
- Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven
- Must have a professional appearance and good hygiene
- Respect for all co-workers and guests
- Pride in your work by creating positive energy, excitement and fun
- Able to work 7 days a week
- Demonstrate positive behaviors
- Able to develop camaraderie with team members
- Ability to live in close quarters and share limited space with other cabin-mates
