Job Description
KFC is a globally recognized restaurant brand renowned for its delicious fried chicken and exceptional customer service. As part of one of the world's leading quick-service restaurant chains, KFC emphasizes quality, consistency, and a customer-first approach to dining. With a focus on community and team culture, KFC strives to create memorable dining experiences while maintaining high standards for food safety and operational excellence. This dynamic environment encourages continuous learning, growth, and leadership development, making it an excellent career destination for those passionate about the food service industry.
As an Assistant Manager at KFC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team. In this role, you will lead by example, training, coaching, and recognizing team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences. This position places you at the heart of your restaurant's success, as you help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain the high standards associated with KFC. You will be responsible for overseeing team member adherence to shift responsibilities and food safety practices, managing employee relations, and assisting with sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new talent.
In the absence of the Restaurant General Manager, you will take charge of the restaurant’s operations, making key decisions that drive the team towards excellence. This role offers a balanced and rewarding work experience, with a 50-hour workweek that includes 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half. KFC believes in cultivating a fun, challenging, and growth-oriented workplace where you can develop professionally while contributing meaningfully to the restaurant's success.
Your responsibilities will also extend to profit and loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management. You will review financial reports, optimize operational performance, and ensure facility maintenance and health and safety standards are consistently met. As a leader, you will champion KFC’s culture and values of equity, inclusion, and belonging, fostering a motivating and collaborative work environment where every employee can thrive. By supporting team recognition and motivation, you will help create a positive and productive atmosphere that drives success for both the team and the business.
