The Assistant Tour Operations Manager role at Legends Global, located at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY, is a dynamic and strategic position vital to the daily operations of the tour department. This role is focused on assisting with coordination and supervision of tour schedules, staff, and all tour activities to ensure exceptional guest experiences. The Assistant Manager collaborates closely with the Tour Operations Manager, stadium operations, and various internal departments along with external partners to guarantee smooth day-to-day operations during both event and non-event days. Key responsibilities include overseeing logistical needs, supporting the training and onboarding of tour staff, handling administrative tasks such as scheduling and payroll management, and serving as manager-on-duty in the Tour Operations Manager’s absence. A crucial part of this role is to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across all tours and ensure superior customer service to clients. The Assistant Tour Operations Manager must display flexibility working non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position offers a competitive salary up to $65,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, marketing or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in stadium operations and sales, preferably in sports and entertainment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, Archtics, or Ticketmaster Host
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of stadium operation and sales experience, preferably in sports and entertainment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, marketing or other related area of study
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary
  • Able to balance internal priorities with client expectations
  • Knowledge of Archtics/Ticketmaster Host/Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Work in cooperation with Tour Operations Manager and stadium operations for daily tour activity and theme day execution
  • Work with staff to ensure quality and overall fan experience for all aspects of the tour programs offered
  • Serve as manager-on-duty in the absence of Tour Operations Manager
  • Provide on-site support on event days
  • Provide tour operations team with information pertaining to groups sold by sales team including work/catering orders, waiver information, special events credentials
  • Oversee administrative daily tasks pertaining to tour operations team
  • Assist Tour Operations Manager with scheduling and payroll
  • Provide superior and professional customer service to clients
  • Liaison with appropriate departments and stadium personnel about daily tours
  • Work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
