Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret level security clearance including criminal background check and U.S. Government background investigation
- Minimum two years of collective experience in petroleum storage, distribution operations, airfield fuel services, and fuel systems maintenance
- At least one year of documented supervisory experience within the last five years
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong decision-making and personnel management skills
- Willingness to comply with base access and security requirements
Job Qualifications
- Significant specialized commercial or military experience in fuel terminal operations
- Supervisory experience in fuel terminal maintenance, operations, and environmental compliance
- Experience equivalent to Air Force Fuels Management seven or nine skill level
- Knowledge of fuel storage, distribution, and servicing equipment
- Proficiency with Fuels Manager computer program
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints
- Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with corporate and military management
Job Duties
- Manage on-site performance of Performance Work Statement requirements
- Supervise fuel terminal operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping petroleum products
- Oversee maintenance and repair of bulk petroleum storage terminals, systems, and equipment
- Ensure environmental compliance and quality surveillance of fuel products
- Manage aviation and ground fuel inventory and administrative practices
- Administer preventive maintenance programs for fuel systems
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system specifications related to petroleum facilities
