The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for a broad range of duties, including staff development, expense control, shrink management, merchandising, and inventory oversight. The role demands a hands-on approach with a focus on leadership, operational efficiency, and compliance with all company policies and procedures. Due to the physical nature of retail work, this position requires the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds for periods exceeding eight hours a day. The minimum age requirement for candidates is 18 years.
