The company’s mission is to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time. This commitment to quality and community engagement has made Starbucks a preferred destination for coffee lovers and a reputable employer in the hospitality sector. Starbucks values not only the coffee it serves but also the people who make the brand thrive, including its employees, referred to as partners. The company offers a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture committed to personal growth and professional development, underpinned by comprehensive benefits and support programs.

As an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks, you assume a critical leadership role in creating a warm, welcoming space where every cup of coffee serves as a catalyst for connection and joy. You’ll be instrumental in guiding your team to deliver exceptional customer service and fostering a supportive environment that makes each customer feel valued and part of a community. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Store Manager in driving sales performance, maintaining operational excellence, and cultivating a positive team culture. Your entrepreneurial mindset and experience in a sales-driven environment will empower you to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies that boost productivity and customer engagement.

Starbucks values diverse experiences and backgrounds; therefore, candidates with retail or customer service management experience, military service, or strong organizational and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply. The company believes in investing in your growth journey through developmental experiences and industry-leading benefits, including extensive health coverage, retirement plans, educational opportunities, and paid time off. This full-time role may require over 40 hours per week with varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is competitive and aligned with your skills, experience, and location, with the Assistant Store Manager role being eligible for overtime pay.

By joining Starbucks, you become part of a community dedicated to making a positive impact in each neighborhood served, building lasting relationships, and creating meaningful work experiences. The company’s inclusive hiring practices ensure equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities, reflecting its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
