The role of an Assistant Store Manager at Smitten Ice Cream is a dynamic and rewarding position that plays a key part in the company’s mission to elevate the ice cream experience. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for embodying the company’s mission and values every day while supporting store operations, team development, and customer satisfaction. In addition to day-to-day operational leadership, the Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members who contribute positively to the company culture. Coaching and advocating for the team, listening to their needs, and fostering an environment where employees can grow within the company are essential aspects of the position. The role also includes serving as the store’s ambassador in the local community by building strong relationships with guests and local partners.

Job Requirements
- 1+ years management experience in restaurants or retail
- 2+ years experience in retail, quick service, or full-service restaurants
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Certified Serv-Safe Food Protection Manager (preferred)
- Able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to stand for up to 10 hours at time
- Able to work up to 40 hours a week
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- 1+ years management experience in restaurants or retail
- 2+ years experience in retail, quick service, or full-service restaurants
- Certified Serv-Safe Food Protection Manager (preferred)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
