The Assistant Store Manager position is a bonus and overtime eligible role with a competitive starting pay range of $22.05 to $30.30 per hour, equating to approximately $54,956.54 to $75,518.51 annually. The exact pay is determined based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

The Assistant Store Manager is essential in driving store performance by managing sales results, expenses, and key operational activities such as merchandising, backroom, frontline operations, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving. A critical focus is maintaining minimal shrink and damages to protect store assets. Additionally, this leadership position involves attracting, recruiting, and nurturing top talent by providing comprehensive training and ongoing associate development. Acting as both a mentor and role model, the Assistant Store Manager cultivates a positive and engaging atmosphere for associates and customers alike.

Communication and implementation of action plans related to projects, targets, company initiatives, and store changes are integral to the role. The Assistant Store Manager also offers valuable input on succession planning to support the store's future needs. Implementing effective strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service goals ensures the store operates efficiently and profitably. Coordination of loss prevention and operational programs, along with optimizing store layout and efficiency, are additional vital responsibilities.
