Job Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and maintain mobility for up to ten hours
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds safely
- Effective reading and writing skills for communication
- Dexterity in using tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications are a plus
Job Duties
- Deliver timely and friendly service in line with company standards
- Foster a positive culture adhering to the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card values
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly
- Engage with guests through regular visits to tables
- Manage inventory levels effectively
- Conduct line checks to ensure food preparation and presentation meet standards
- Create staff schedules aligned with sales demands
- Uphold safety and security protocols in the restaurant
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Report necessary repairs to management
- Assist in recruiting and referring potential candidates
- Contribute to employee training and development
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies and cost control
- Oversee food and liquor inventories
- Prepare accurate daily reports
- Ensure health and sanitation standards consistently exceed expectations
- Serve as a role model for staff and managers
- Work in various capacities throughout the restaurant as needed
