Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Ability to work any shift and day of the week including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Comprehensive knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer
- Strong guest service orientation
- Previous server or bartender experience in a high-volume environment
- Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
- Effective team management and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Comprehensive knowledge of wines, liquors, and beers
- Proven excellent guest service skills
- Previous experience as a server or bartender in a high-volume restaurant
- Experience managing within a unionized environment is a plus
- Hotel experience is desirable
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Job Duties
- Assist in managing restaurant operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, and profitability
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to maximize revenue
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members through counseling, evaluations, and reward programs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness policies
- Monitor and assess service quality and guest satisfaction, making improvements as needed
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff
- Act in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when necessary
