Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Ability to work any shift and day of the week including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer
  • Strong guest service orientation
  • Previous server or bartender experience in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
  • Effective team management and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year supervisory or management experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wines, liquors, and beers
  • Proven excellent guest service skills
  • Previous experience as a server or bartender in a high-volume restaurant
  • Experience managing within a unionized environment is a plus
  • Hotel experience is desirable
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties

  • Assist in managing restaurant operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, and profitability
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities to maximize revenue
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members through counseling, evaluations, and reward programs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness policies
  • Monitor and assess service quality and guest satisfaction, making improvements as needed
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff
  • Act in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when necessary
