The establishment prides itself on offering high-quality dining options in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where each day presents new opportunities and challenges.
The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Uinta Brewing Company is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and leadership. This full-time position offers a competitive base salary ranging between $55,000 and $63,000 annually, supplemented by quarterly performance bonuses and an annual super bonus plan. Additionally, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and employee assistance programs.
In this critical role, the Assistant Restaurant Manager partners closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold the highest standards of service and food quality. The position involves leading a dedicated team of Food Travel Experts, managing opening, service, and closing procedures, and maintaining compliance with rigorous health, safety, and sanitation regulations. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is expected to provide hands-on leadership that fosters a safe, efficient, and guest-focused environment, ensuring every visitor receives an outstanding dining experience.
Key responsibilities include overseeing hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring of team members to maintain exceptional guest service standards. Inventory management and product quality control are essential aspects of the role, alongside cash handling and reconciliation duties. The Assistant Restaurant Manager also plays a vital role in monitoring employee performance, offering coaching, and enforcing disciplinary actions when necessary. Effective communication with both management and team members is critical, as is the prompt resolution of guest feedback to maintain customer satisfaction.
This position is ideal for candidates with proven restaurant management experience in full-service dining, ideally supported by supervisory experience in kitchen or back-of-house operations. Knowledge of HACCP, ServSafe, and related health and safety regulations is essential. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills are required, along with the flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
By joining SSP America at Uinta Brewing Company, employees become part of a global leader in travel dining known for its commitment to career growth, competitive rewards, and a vibrant work atmosphere where no two days are the same. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop professionally while making a tangible impact on the guest experience in a high-volume, airport-based restaurant setting.
