The role of Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese presents a high-energy, high-reward career opportunity for passionate individuals ready to take the next step in their management careers. This position is central to maintaining the brand's reputation for excellence in family entertainment by leading a team committed to ensuring every guest leaves happy. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for making daily operational decisions involving time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness, and upholding product and guest service standards. Your leadership will extend across various areas including kitchen operations, sales, showroom management, and the gameroom, providing a well-rounded experience and offering opportunities for rotation through each sector.
You'll play a key role in building sales and maximizing profits through effective recruitment, training, development, and motivation of your team, always with the focus on meeting and exceeding company and guest expectations. Coaching and inspiring team members to deliver outstanding guest service in a safe, clean, and efficient environment is paramount. Financial acumen is required as you will need to understand cost control procedures, inventory management, and labor management to ensure operational excellence.
This position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $19.32 to $21.47, with commission potentials varying based on exempt or non-exempt status. Commissions include additional earnings for each Membership and Fun Pass sold, paid out bi-weekly. Beyond compensation, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package supporting employees' health, financial security, and professional growth. Among these are medical, dental, vision coverage, 401(k) retirement savings, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and more.
The Assistant Manager role demands strong skills in coaching and developing others, effective communication, composure, resourcefulness, integrity, and excellent time and priority management. Physical requirements include the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities in work environments that may be loud and include exposure to varying temperatures. The company supports diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and ensuring accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
