Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Available to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Willingness to participate in IHOP training courses
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two to four years of related experience or training in restaurant management
- Ability to speak and read English
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Certification through IHOP training courses as assigned
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
Job Duties
- Assist in the achievement of budgeted sales and profits
- Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with restaurant hourly team members, corporate and regional team members, and guests
- Implement IHOP training program for all restaurant hourly team members to improve unit operations and guest experience
- Assist in the execution of financial, marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives in accordance with IHOP SOP and operations plan
- Comply with federal, state and local regulations applicable to the assigned unit
- Assist in recruitment, training and retention of team members
- Ensure adequate levels of supplies including food, paper, kitchen, safety, janitorial, uniform, linen and miscellaneous items
- Ensure proper operational condition of equipment, building structure and premises
- Ensure safety and sanitation practices
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure restaurant
- Complete required reports and paperwork
- Perform other assigned duties
