Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in the family dining and entertainment industry, proudly operating the iconic brands Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, CEC Entertainment has built a strong reputation for creating joyful environments where kids and families can gather to eat, play, and make lasting memories. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the company has cemented its position as a beloved and trusted brand in the family entertainment space.
Chuck E. Cheese is renowned for its commitment to safety, fun, and community involvement, celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and supporting local schools and nonprofits with over $24 million in donations. The company prides itself on fostering an inclusive culture that champions diversity, innovation, and employee well-being, as evidenced by recent recognitions such as the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
The role of Assistant Manager at Chuck E. Cheese offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals ready to advance their management careers in a dynamic and rewarding environment. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dedicated team that brings the company’s mission to life by ensuring that "every guest leaves happy." This position is high-energy and fast-paced, ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative setting focused on delivering outstanding guest experiences while driving business results.
Your responsibilities will encompass various leadership duties, including daily decision-making related to staff scheduling, cleanliness, time management, and maintaining both product and guest service standards. You will be integral to building sales and maximizing profits by recruiting, training, developing, and motivating team members to exceed company and guest expectations. Moreover, the Assistant Manager is expected to coach and inspire the team, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficiently run environment.
Cost control, inventory management, labor oversight, and understanding financial metrics are critical components of this role, designed to promote operational excellence. An exciting aspect of the position involves ownership of an "Area of Impact" (AOI), rotating through key areas such as the Kitchen, Sales, Showroom, and Gameroom. This rotational responsibility ensures a well-rounded management experience covering everything from food safety and preparation to party planning and technical equipment maintenance.
Commission opportunities vary between exempt and non-exempt employees, with rates for membership and Fun Pass sales that provide substantial earning potential, paid out bi-weekly, enhancing the overall compensation package.
CEC Entertainment invests in its people by offering comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, extensive job training, and career growth opportunities. The company is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, reflecting the backgrounds and perspectives of the guests it serves. This role is a fantastic chance to be part of a leading brand dedicated to service excellence, innovation, and creating fun-filled experiences for families across the country.
