Job Description
SSP America is a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations across the globe, specializing in airport restaurant environments. With a reputation for delivering high-quality dining experiences and excellent customer service, SSP America manages a diverse portfolio of brands including Chili's. Located at the bustling Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Chili's offers travelers a welcoming full-service dining experience featuring a vibrant bar scene, dynamic menu, and a comfortable atmosphere. The company prides itself on fostering career growth opportunities within a fast-paced, exciting work environment that values teamwork, food safety, and operational excellence.
We are looking to hire an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the Chili's management team at SEA airport. This full-time, hourly, non-exempt position offers an annual salary of $70,600 based on a 50-hour work week, with opportunities for quarterly bonuses and a year-end super bonus. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in full-service restaurant management and bar operations, coupled with an unwavering commitment to high-volume food service excellence and food safety standards.
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of hospitality and efficiency, managing both front-of-house and kitchen activities to ensure seamless restaurant operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining cost control, implementing robust systems and processes, overseeing merchandising and displays, and handling office management tasks such as forecasting and budgeting. As an Assistant Manager, you will guide and develop a diverse team, fostering a collaborative atmosphere that keeps service quality high and customer satisfaction at the forefront.
Working in an energetic airport setting means you will be adept at problem-solving quickly and effectively, interacting with a wide range of stakeholders including corporate executives, union representatives, customers, and hourly team members. Proficiency in computer systems such as MS Office and Point-of-Sale (POS) platforms is essential to support data-driven decision making and operational accuracy. This role is ideal for someone with a high organizational maturity, capable of prioritizing daily, weekly, and yearly responsibilities while managing the pace and complexity of an airport restaurant.
If you are passionate about the food service industry and ready to take on new challenges in a major airport environment, this position offers you a platform for career progression with one of the world's largest restaurant operators. By joining SSP America's Chili's team at Seattle Tacoma International Airport, you will be part of a vibrant community dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences to travelers from around the world. We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work in a setting that is both stimulating and rewarding.
