We are currently seeking dedicated Assistant Restaurant Managers to join our vibrant Dunkin' team. This role is instrumental in supporting the Restaurant Manager in cultivating a motivated team focused on delivering outstanding guest service and achieving profitable sales growth. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in recruiting, onboarding, and developing team members including Crew and Shift Leaders, ensuring that every employee understands and embodies Dunkin's guest-first culture.

The position involves operational leadership, requiring you to maintain safety, quality, and brand standards to foster a secure and inviting environment for both staff and guests. You will assist in staffing, compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and execution of promotional initiatives and new product rollouts. Financial acumen is essential, as you will help control restaurant costs, drive sales, and contribute to profitability goals.

Your leadership extends beyond operational duties to include managing interpersonal relationships, resolving conflicts, and inspiring a team-oriented atmosphere. The role demands a person who can analyze business trends, understand competitive landscapes, and apply innovative solutions to enhance Dunkin’s market position. This is a full-time or part-time on-site position, offering the opportunity to be part of a globally recognized brand with a rich history and loyal customer base.

Job Requirements

  • No education required
  • At least 18 years of age (where applicable)
  • Prior experience in restaurant, retail or supervisory roles
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic writing skills
  • Understanding of math and financial management principles

Job Duties

  • Assist to recruit, hire, onboard and develop employees
  • Communicate job expectations to employees
  • Hold team members accountable for their behavior and performance, addressing concerns promptly
  • Support the development of team members
  • Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
  • Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed to achieve guest service goals
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Ensure Brand standards, recipes and systems are executed
  • Help prepare and complete action plans
  • Implement production, productivity, quality and guest service standards
  • Review guest feedback and restaurant assessment results and implement action plans to drive system improvements
  • Control costs to help maximize profitability
  • Execute all in-restaurant marketing promotions in a timely manner
  • Execute new product roll-outs including team training, marketing and sampling
  • Drive sales goals and track results
