Job Description

The company is currently seeking a motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at the Dallas Love Field Airport location. This role is crucial in supporting the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient daily restaurant operations, maintaining high standards for both food quality and customer service. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will lead a team of Food Travel Experts, manage operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, and ensure compliance with industry regulations such as food safety and health standards. This position offers an annual base salary of $56,000 with additional bonuses including quarterly performance incentives and an annual super bonus plan. It also includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement.

In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring staff to create outstanding guest experiences. You will oversee inventory management, product quality, cash handling policies, and performance evaluations. Effective communication with management teams and prompt addressing of guest feedback are also central to this position. The ideal candidate will have more than two years of restaurant management experience in full-service dining, along with supervisory skills in kitchen or back-of-house operations, and be well-versed in HACCP, ServSafe, and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in full-service dining
  • 1+ year of kitchen or back-of-house supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and control costs
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ServSafe, health, and safety regulations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Lead daily restaurant operations including opening, service, and closing procedures
