The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager at Puerto Tortas Tacos Cantina is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive salary of $65,000 per year and includes bonus eligibility. This leadership position demands a hands-on approach where the incumbent will lead from the floor, ensuring the protection of food quality and building high-performing teams that operate confidently and efficiently. The Assistant Manager will oversee both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations, maintaining exceptional food and sanitation standards, controlling labor, inventory, and all cost metrics. They will also be responsible for training and coaching staff to elevate performance and ensure smooth running of systems and processes.

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant leadership experience
  • minimum 1 year in full-service restaurant management required

  • comfortable using POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational demands
