Job Requirements
- Must have prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry
- must have experience working in a high-volume food service establishment
- must have TB clearance
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area or 2-year degree from an accredited university
- familiarity with restaurant management software
- financial management skills
- knowledge of general office equipment and administrative skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to change
- excellent communication skills
- ability to train, develop and hold staff accountable
- leadership skills including delegation
- ability to analyze budgets
- regular predictable attendance
- must comply with all company policies and requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area or 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry
- experience in high-volume food service establishments
- familiarity with restaurant management software like OpenTable and NCR Silver Pro
- financial management skills
- administrative skills including spreadsheet, database, and word processing knowledge
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- effective leadership and delegation skills
- ability to train and develop staff
- strong organizational skills
- ability to analyze budgets
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- willingness to learn and adapt
Job Duties
- Observe and enforce all restaurant and company policies
- support the Restaurant Manager and perform their duties in their absence
- uphold guest experience standards for dine-in and takeout
- handle guest complaints proactively
- monitor and provide feedback to employees on service delivery
- assist in supervising daily shift operations
- ensure compliance with local laws and company procedures
- manage budget and labor goals
- open and close restaurant shifts
- engage with guests to obtain feedback
- supervise staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives
- assist in training and coaching staff
- communicate effectively with kitchen and management
- handle employee questions and concerns
- promote teamwork and a positive work culture
