Job Requirements

  • Must have prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry
  • must have experience working in a high-volume food service establishment
  • must have TB clearance
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area or 2-year degree from an accredited university
  • familiarity with restaurant management software
  • financial management skills
  • knowledge of general office equipment and administrative skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to change
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to train, develop and hold staff accountable
  • leadership skills including delegation
  • ability to analyze budgets
  • regular predictable attendance
  • must comply with all company policies and requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area or 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
  • prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry
  • experience in high-volume food service establishments
  • familiarity with restaurant management software like OpenTable and NCR Silver Pro
  • financial management skills
  • administrative skills including spreadsheet, database, and word processing knowledge
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • effective leadership and delegation skills
  • ability to train and develop staff
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to analyze budgets

Job Duties

  • Observe and enforce all restaurant and company policies
  • support the Restaurant Manager and perform their duties in their absence
  • uphold guest experience standards for dine-in and takeout
  • handle guest complaints proactively
  • monitor and provide feedback to employees on service delivery
  • assist in supervising daily shift operations
  • ensure compliance with local laws and company procedures
  • manage budget and labor goals
  • open and close restaurant shifts
  • engage with guests to obtain feedback
  • supervise staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives
  • assist in training and coaching staff
  • communicate effectively with kitchen and management
  • handle employee questions and concerns
  • promote teamwork and a positive work culture
