Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience in restaurant or food service
  • relevant food safety certification such as Food Handlers card
  • proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
  • ability to prioritize and manage daily, weekly, monthly tasks
  • strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • associate degree or equivalent coursework preferred
  • 2 plus years of restaurant or food service management or supervisory experience
  • experience in full service and/or quick service restaurant environment preferred
  • culinary background desirable
  • valid food handlers card or equivalent certification
  • proficient computer literacy including MS Office and POS systems
  • strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple activities
  • excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executives, union representatives, and diverse team members
  • proven conflict resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Manage all front of house and kitchen activities
  • supervise and evaluate team member performance with follow-up and feedback including disciplinary actions
  • ensure food quality and standards including recipe adherence and portion control
  • maintain compliance with company and food safety regulations
  • optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability
  • recruit, train, and communicate with team members
  • develop, plan, and assign daily goals and tasks
  • implement and maintain guest service standards and brand specifications
  • ensure adherence to company policies and state health and sanitation standards
  • maintain merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards
  • monitor inventory levels
  • assist in analyzing sales reports to monitor sales performance
  • address routine operational issues and escalate complex problems appropriately
