The Fort Wayne, Indiana location at 8829 Coldwater Road seeks to hire an Assistant Restaurant Leader (Assistant Manager) who will play a pivotal role in supporting the management team. This full-time position offers valuable management and leadership experience along with competitive pay. As an Assistant Restaurant Leader, you will work closely with the Restaurant Leader to oversee customer service, employee training, and coaching, ensuring that all team members perform to their best abilities. You will be responsible for maintaining the condition of the restaurant in compliance with company policies and health department standards. Ensuring the freshness, preparation, and presentation of all foodservice products is a top priority. Additionally, you will use P&L data and store reports to drive continuous improvements and operational excellence.
The role requires strong organizational skills, computer proficiency (particularly Microsoft Word and Excel), and the ability to read and interpret various operational documents. Candidates with at least one year of restaurant management experience are preferred, and a High School diploma or GED is desired but not mandatory. Physical capabilities such as multi-tasking, frequent bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds are necessary to successfully perform in this position.

Job Requirements
- Desire to provide leadership training and coaching for restaurant employees
- Ability to ensure compliance with company and health department policies
- Capability to maintain proper food preparation and presentation
- Experience using P&L and operational reports
- Proficient computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Office
- Physical stamina including multi-tasking standing bending reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required for candidates with restaurant management experience
- Previous supervisory or restaurant management experience
- Ability to lead customer service and train employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret operational documents
Job Duties
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership training and coaching alongside the Restaurant Leader
- Ensure the restaurant complies with company policies and health department standards
- Monitor preparation presentation and freshness of all foodservice products
- Use P&L and store reports to affect positive operational changes
- Read and interpret operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Support multi-tasking and physical duties such as bending standing reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Assist in staff scheduling and shift management
