The role of the Assistant Restaurant Leader, also known as the Assistant Manager, is a critical position within the company’s restaurant management team. This full-time role provides valuable management and leadership experience, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence. The Assistant Restaurant Leader works closely with the Restaurant Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, health department standards, and food safety regulations. They play a key role in coaching, training, and motivating restaurant employees to excel in their roles and maintain the highest standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation.
7-Eleven’s Assistant Restaurant Leader position involves managing multiple aspects of restaurant operations, from monitoring the condition and cleanliness of the restaurant to understanding and utilizing Profit and Loss (P&L) reports and store performance data to influence positive change. Candidates in this role will be instrumental in supporting a dynamic team environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day service while upholding company values and customer expectations. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is highly valued, along with the ability to interpret operating and maintenance instructions effectively.
This role demands a person who can multi-task efficiently, demonstrates physical stamina by performing duties that include bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements
- Desire to oversee and provide customer service leadership training and coaching alongside the Restaurant Leader
- Ability to ensure the restaurant complies with company and health department standards
- Strength in ensuring proper food preparation presentation and freshness
- Ability to use Profit and Loss and store reports to affect change
- Ability to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions
- Proficient computer knowledge with Microsoft products preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred with at least one year of restaurant management experience considered
- Ability to multi-task perform bending standing reaching and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

- Ensure proper preparation presentation and freshness of all foodservice products
- Use Profit and Loss and store reports to make operational changes
- Read and interpret operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Assist in managing staff performance and daily restaurant operations
- Support promotional and marketing initiatives within the restaurant
