With a dynamic work environment and a unique culture emphasizing a Work Hard. Have Fun. philosophy, Raising Cane's has established itself as the fastest-growing chicken concept in the United States. The brand is on an ambitious path to become one of the Top 10 Restaurant Brands in the country. Every team member, or Crewmember, plays a pivotal role in the company's swift growth and sustained success. This company is deeply invested in the development and welfare of its employees, offering comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation packages that reflect location, experience, and qualifications.
The role available is that of a Full-time Assistant Restaurant Leader. This position is critical to supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all activities align with Raising Cane's operational standards and cultural values. The Assistant Restaurant Leader is responsible for overseeing a range of operational duties including hiring and terminating hourly crewmembers, managing onboarding and payroll processes, creating work and training schedules, and handling performance management through coaching and documentation. Preparation for this role requires readiness to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced kitchen environment. This environment necessitates prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, and bending, along with direct interaction with customers.
Moreover, the Assistant Restaurant Leader must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings across varied temperatures and in proximity to food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, and cleaning chemicals while using appropriate personal protective equipment. The individual in this role also acts as the manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant and managing cash handling with strict accountability. To excel, one must embody Raising Cane's standards by enforcing policies, executing shift management meetings focused on operations and safety, and using the necessary tools and logs to monitor, document, and correct operational issues during shifts.
The role offers incentives including an annual starting salary from $61,000 plus a monthly training bonus of $750, with additional monthly incentives linked to restaurant profitability. Full-time managers receive a rich benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and others, reflecting the company’s commitment to employee well-being and career development. Flexible shifts and a vibrant team culture also underscore Raising Cane's dedication to maintaining a supportive and rewarding work experience. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and driven, and who thrive in a fast-paced environment where leadership and people management skills are essential. Joining Raising Cane's means becoming part of a community focused on quality, teamwork, and continually Raising The Bar.
