The role of Assistant Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's is a vital management position responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in all day-to-day restaurant operations while maintaining the high standards and culture expected by the brand. This is a full-time opportunity with a starting base salary between $60,000 and $74,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications, supplemented by a Restaurant Monthly Incentive Program that can increase the total target cash compensation to between approximately $82,614 and $96,614. The incentive program rewards outstanding restaurant performance, profitability, and adherence to corporate eligibility requirements, making this a financially attractive role for motivated leaders.
As an Assistant Restaurant Leader, you will play an essential role in managing all aspects of restaurant operations in a fast-paced kitchen environment that requires physical stamina, including walking, standing for extended periods, lifting, and bending. Your interactions with customers and crewmembers will be critical in delivering the Raising Cane's promise of exemplary customer service. You will oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll processes, and performance management of hourly, non-management crewmembers, ensuring that every team member is equipped and motivated to perform optimally. Additionally, you will act as the manager on duty, responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling, enforcing company policies, and ensuring the facility is maintained in excellent working order.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days evenings and weekends
- Able to travel as needed for work related functions and training
Job Qualifications

- Detail-oriented organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Self-driven flexible and highly energetic with strong analytical written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

- Proficient in technology systems including Microsoft Office Excel Word and Outlook and ability to learn new systems quickly
- High school diploma or equivalent required some college preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Hire and terminate all hourly non-management crewmembers
- Own the onboarding status change and payroll process for all hourly crewmembers
- Create crewmember work and training schedules
- Manage the performance of all hourly crewmembers including development coaching redirective communication and documentation
- Act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant
- Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
- Enforce Raising Cane's policies and standards
