Job Description
Our client is a leading construction firm headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, specializing in large-scale luxury multifamily residential developments. Established in 2010, this company has grown to become one of the largest national builder-developers in the United States. While the Boston office is smaller with approximately 20 to 30 employees, it benefits from the extensive resources and support of a large general contractor with a nationwide presence. Their marketplace focus is on luxury ground-up multifamily projects valued at over $100 million, offering a unique combination of working within a close-knit team environment while managing expansive, high-profile developments.
The company values career development and offers excellent pathways for professional growth. Employees work on-site in Boston in a supportive setting that encourages skill enhancement and upward mobility within the organization.
The role being offered is a permanent position based in Boston with annual compensation ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000, alongside a 15% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The Project Manager position centers on supporting and assisting with planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects that are luxury multifamily units built from the ground up. This role is essential in ensuring that budgets, schedules, and project execution meet client expectations and internal standards.
Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee that all requirements are fulfilled on time and to quality standards. The position requires closely monitoring the progress of the projects and preparing regular status reports to keep stakeholders informed. Safety and quality compliance is a critical aspect of this role, ensuring that all construction phases meet established standards. Effective communication with clients is required to provide updates and address any concerns promptly. Other duties include resolving project-related issues efficiently and assisting in the preparation of documentation and closeout procedures.
The role demands organizational and communication skills, proficiency in project management software, and a solid understanding of construction safety and quality control. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, and candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience specifically in luxury ground-up multifamily projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to some of the most prestigious multifamily developments in Boston while enjoying the resources of a national construction powerhouse combined with the personalized experience of a smaller team.
