Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a cake decorator
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work standing and walking for long periods
- Availability to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Must comply with corporate and state safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a cake decorator
- Familiarity with state and corporate safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to supervise and lead teammates
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain product freshness
- Basic knowledge of operating bakery equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment
Job Duties
- Assist with the patisserie bakery operation including preparation, baking, merchandising and presentation of bakery products
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling requests
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards
- Ensure recipes are followed, products are fresh, labeled correctly and priced appropriately
- Assist with and create customer special orders and showcase cakes
- Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils
- Supervise teammates in patisserie area to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to safety and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to corporate and state sanitation regulations
- Control shrinkage through policy adherence
- Work effectively both individually and as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Follow all company policies and procedures
