Job Requirements

  • Open availability including weekdays, weeknights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work varied shifts including AM and PM
  • Passion for pastry and baking
  • Ability to maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Must comply with all food handling and storage regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years pastry experience
  • Prior hotel experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and food safety standards
  • Ability to develop new pastry products
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to quality and customer service standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Stock, maintain and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product
  • Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, as needed
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items
