Currently, the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is seeking part-time Food and Beverage associates for flexible, on-call shifts. Attention to detail is essential, as they portion, chop, and store ingredients properly before cooking. Competency with baking and measuring tools and equipment is required to prepare high-quality baked goods. Associates must consistently adhere to food safety handling practices, including maintaining excellent personal hygiene, monitoring food and appliance temperatures, and ensuring compliance with sanitation procedures. The role involves setting up and breaking down workstations, disinfecting kitchen areas, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Less than 1-year related work experience
- Ability to work flexible, on-call shifts
- Physical ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- No supervisory experience required
- Willingness to complete safety training and certifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
- Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools, equipment, and appliances to prepare baked foods
- Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures
- Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food, and report issues to management
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area
