Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Availability for full-time morning/daytime shifts
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work early hours
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of large-scale baking or pastry experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Ability to work quickly and decorate pastries efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Formal baking or pastry education is a plus but not required
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins following recipes and quality standards
- Lift heavy ingredients and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more
- Stand for extended periods and mix doughs and batters
- Decorate pastries efficiently and creatively
- Comply with local, state, and federal food handling and sanitation regulations
- Adapt to changes and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members to maintain kitchen cleanliness and product quality
