Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in pastry baking
  • Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Physical stamina for long standing shifts
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent guest service mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Capability to work a single station in the kitchen
  • Strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull moderate weight
  • Flexible schedule availability including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Monitor food production and quality
  • Ensure consistency in pastry and baking products
  • Manage staffing levels and schedule
  • Conduct department training and development
  • Communicate effectively with team and guests
  • Oversee cost control and inventory management
  • Lead pastry operations in absence of Pastry Chef
