The role of Assistant Manager Hospitality Services within Campus Dining Services offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the dynamic operations of a unique college residential dining facility. This position is responsible for assisting in the direction of daily operational activities to ensure the delivery of fast, high-quality, safe, and cost-efficient food production and customer service. The Assistant Manager contributes to supervising a team that includes both students and full-time staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Key responsibilities focus on inventory control, purchasing, pricing, merchandising, marketing, and sales efforts while maximizing profitability and resource efficiency. The role also involves participating in strategic planning, policy development, and evaluation of departmental objectives, including budget oversight and public relations initiatives. This position supports ongoing training and supervises students and interns utilizing the dining facilities for academic purposes. A distinct emphasis is placed on innovation in recipe and menu development to enhance food quality, presentation, creativity, and value.

This position operates with a variable schedule, including weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of dining services. The anticipated salary range for this role is $52,915.20 to $58,000 annually, categorized under Grade GGS 9E.
