Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Or two-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- One year experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
- Ability to communicate performance expectations
- Ability to handle employee questions and concerns
- Skilled in scheduling and tracking employee attendance
- Knowledge of budget management
- Understanding of loss prevention policies
- Ability to interact effectively with guests
- Commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence
Job Qualifications

- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to understand and manage budgets and operational reports

- Strong guest service orientation and problem resolution skills
Job Duties
- Support the management of Rooms Operations activities by opening and closing Front Desk and Housekeeping shifts ensuring completion of shift checklists
- Run and review critical information contained in room operations reports
- Understand functions of Recreation, Laundry, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, AYS, Front Desk and Concierge/Guest Services operations
- Operate department equipment and report malfunctions
- Ensure employees have proper supplies and uniforms
- Comprehend and utilize night audit procedures and reports
- Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures
- Communicate performance expectations to employees
- Handle employee questions and concerns
- Schedule employees according to business demands and track attendance
- Supervise same day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and property occupancy
- Verify accuracy of room rates
- Utilize budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports to assist in management
- Participate in management of controllable expenses to meet budget goals
- Understand impact of Room Operations on financial goals
- Assist in investigation of employee and guest accidents
- Use guest information tracking systems to support repeat guest recognition
- Set positive example for guest relations
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback and handle complaints
- Assist in review of comment cards and guest satisfaction with employees
