Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles
- Servsafe or food handler's certificate
- Willingness to relocate to Tucson, AZ
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Profitek or Toast preferred
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a quick service or fast food environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards
- Servsafe or food handler's certificate
- Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes
- Familiarity with Profitek POS or Toast POS is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is a plus
- Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
- Support the Restaurant Manager in staff training, development, and performance management
- Manage inventory control, including ordering and stock management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Handle cash management and POS operations
- Supervise and assist back of house staff as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Participate in hiring processes, including interviewing potential candidates
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving restaurant performance
