Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles
  • Servsafe or food handler's certificate
  • Willingness to relocate to Tucson, AZ
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Profitek or Toast preferred
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager in a quick service or fast food environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards
  • Servsafe or food handler's certificate
  • Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes
  • Familiarity with Profitek POS or Toast POS is preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is a plus
  • Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is advantageous
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in staff training, development, and performance management
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering and stock management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Handle cash management and POS operations
  • Supervise and assist back of house staff as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Participate in hiring processes, including interviewing potential candidates
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving restaurant performance
