The company is committed not only to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences but also to fostering a supportive and growth-oriented community for its associates. At Panda Express, the focus is on creating a family environment where people are inspired to better their lives both professionally and personally. This commitment is reflected in their extensive leadership training programs, career development opportunities, and the numerous benefits offered to team members.

The role of Assistant Manager at Panda Express is a key position within the store management team. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing and directing associates, handling hiring processes, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. The company invests in its leaders by providing paid Store Management Leadership Training lasting three or more weeks, focusing on preparing you thoroughly for success in this role. Throughout the training and beyond, you will receive mentorship and ongoing support from the Panda community, which is dedicated to your success. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a career path with growth potential in a vibrant and dynamic environment.

In addition to professional development, Panda Express rewards its employees generously. Benefits include free meals during shifts, comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and voluntary insurance options such as short-term disability and cancer income protection for full-time associates. The company also offers a 401(k) plan with a company match, paid time off, paid holidays, bereavement leave, and a unique Leave Share Program. Moreover, employees can enjoy discounts on theme parks, gym memberships, and more. The organization strongly supports continued education by providing scholarships and career advancement programs, alongside lucrative referral bonuses and income protection plans that include life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. The workplace environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability, effective communication, and the ability to manage conflict, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding experience for all team members.
