Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in optical sales or retail management preferred
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Customer service orientation
- Basic proficiency with financial and inventory management software
- Availability to work weekdays and Saturdays with every Sunday off
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
Job Qualifications
- Optical sales experience supervising experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead coach and build associate relationships
- Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success
- Strong communication skills both oral and written for effective team management
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress
- Ability to analyze create and understand financial reports
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope
Job Duties
- Monitor and achieve profit sales and performance goals by reviewing P and L
- Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and operational guidelines
- Convey commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensure all associates do the same
- Ensure quality standards are met by reviewing remakes and enforcing policy compliance
- Communicate with General Manager District Manager and Corporate Office and provide store reporting as required
- Ensure store promotions advertising and visual merchandising are in place and all associates and doctors are aware of current promotions
- Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates ensuring timely completion of day-to-day functions
- Assist General Manager with forecasting staffing needs recruiting selecting and retaining high caliber staff
- Motivate associates to exceed performance standards
