The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant alongside or in the absence of the General Manager. This position demands a strong leadership presence focused on maintaining operational excellence, ensuring compliance with brand policies and regulatory requirements, and driving guest satisfaction. The role requires effective coordination of staff recruitment, training, and ongoing development to build a skilled and motivated team. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for assigning tasks, managing labor law compliance, and overseeing restaurant cleanliness and maintenance, thereby upholding the brand image. Partnering closely with the General Manager, the Assistant Manager uses management information tools to analyze operational and financial metrics, identify performance trends, and implement strategies aimed at driving profitable sales growth and improving the overall guest experience. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and exhibit strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. This position requires a high level of organization, integrity, and the ability to take direction while motivating others. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 10-50 pounds and operate computer devices such as desktops and tablets. A valid driver’s license is necessary, especially for those opting to deliver catering orders, which involves using a personal cell phone for tracking delivery times safely.
