The Assistant Manager position at QDOBA is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years QSR experience including at least one year in leadership
- Ability to lift equipment and product cases weighing 10-50 pounds
- Must be able to speak and hear clearly on telephone and in person
- Must be able to operate a computer such as a desktop or tablet
- Valid driver’s license required
- If delivering catering, must have an operable personal cell phone and use it to track orders following company safety procedures
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Must comply with all state and federal labor laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years QSR experience with at least one year in a leadership role
- Excellent prioritization interpersonal problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and organized
- Ability to take direction from higher-level positions
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to recruit hire coach train and motivate employees

Job Duties
- Assist the General Manager with recruitment selection and training efforts
- Train and develop restaurant staff ensuring systems for training are fully implemented
- Assign activities and tasks to team members
- Comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
- Hold team accountable for delivering excellent guest service and food quality according to brand standards
- Review and modify practices to continuously improve the guest experience
- Maintain brand image through restaurant cleanliness maintenance and service
- Use management information tools to analyze operational and financial performance
- Identify trends and develop action plans for improvement
- Focus on long-term sales growth initiatives to drive profitable sales growth
- Consider cost-benefit impacts of financial decisions to protect the brand
- Monitor costs and adhere to budget and restaurant goals
