Job Requirements
- 2 years of management experience in a commercial high-volume kitchen
- Valid CA driver’s license and ability to be insured
- Valid food handlers card
- Ability to supervise a team
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to change

Job Duties
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that they follow all health and safety rules and regulations
- Support the manager with the development and implementation of a deep cleaning schedule to maintain a clean working kitchen
- Coordinate the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Provide direction and coaching for all kitchen staff including food preparation, production and safety and sanitation
- Support in preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Responsible for upkeep of inventory logs and submitting fulfillment requests to Kitchen Manager
- Ensure that all food items are properly labeled, stored and rotated as per food handling guidelines
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Support the manager in coordinating training and ongoing development of team members
- Support deliveries of meals, as needed
