The position available is for a Hotel Operations Management Generalist, a versatile and dynamic role supporting multiple disciplines across the property. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless daily operations in various functional areas, including Front Desk, Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, Concierge/Guest Services, Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Food and Beverage outlets like restaurants, bars, lounges, room service, as well as Event Operations such as event services, banquets, and event technology. This generalist position demands strong coordination and leadership skills to manage labor scheduling and lead shifts across these diverse departments, adapting to the ever-changing needs of the property.

In this role, the candidate will actively participate in guest arrival and departure procedures, oversee restaurant and bar operations, and lead the setup and execution of meetings and events to meet brand and event standards. Responsibilities also include conducting guest room inspections, providing operational feedback to various teams, and ensuring accountability within event operations for successful event execution according to guest expectations and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). This role requires excellent communication skills for conducting daily stand-up meetings, pre-shift briefings, and performance discussions with staff, thereby fostering teamwork and operational efficiency.

Supporting senior management, the Hotel Operations Management Generalist will also contribute to financial and administrative tasks, striving to maximize both guest and employee satisfaction while optimizing financial results for the property. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • if no standard educational background, at least 3 years of experience in two hospitality areas
  • knowledge of OSHA guidelines
  • understanding of beverage control and liquor laws
  • ability to support inventory and budget management
  • capability to lead and motivate teams
  • exceptional customer service skills
  • flexibility to support various departments

Job Qualifications
