Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years experience as an assistant banquet setup manager at a high-end or high-volume property
- ability to work a varied schedule
- fluent communication skills in English both written and spoken
- proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Office, Opera and POS systems
- possess leadership and organizational skills
- valid Nevada Health card
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- minimum age of 18 years

Job Duties
- assist the setup manager including scheduling and training all banquet setup employees
- set and supply banquet areas to support catering and convention business
- review all banquet functions and Delphi diary to avoid conflicts
- assist catering managers in planning event setup and preparing banquet floor plans compliant with Fire Marshall guidelines
- communicate with catering managers and banquet captains regarding setup issues
- direct and manage the Fire Marshall Fund account
- manage day-to-day operations on the convention floor including workforce management and disciplinary actions
- maintain accurate time records and payroll
