The position begins with an 8 to 12-week full-time Assistant General Manager In Training program, offering guaranteed pay of $20.00 per hour plus tips. Upon successful completion of the training, candidates transition to the fully trained Assistant General Manager role, receiving a guaranteed $21.50 per hour plus tips and an EBIDTA bonus, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding high performance and operational excellence.

This leadership role emphasizes training with hands-on and in-house development, preparing you to lead a team of professionals who collectively work to serve amazing guests and maintain operational standards. As an Assistant General Manager, you'll work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where multitasking and maintaining urgency are key to providing the exceptional experience Jersey Mike's customers expect. Responsibilities include handling opening and closing store tasks, managing inventory, creating employee schedules, leading and supporting a crew of 3 to 7 team members, and stepping in for the General Manager as needed. A critical component of this role involves engaging guests with an excellent menu and product knowledge, a friendly and outgoing personality, and outstanding communication skills.
